Announcing the 4/27 Smashville Express to Columbus

On April 27th, PuckScene is taking a bus to Columbus for the Predators' season finale...and YOU can join us!

In December 2010, we invaded Atlanta with 70 Predator fans. In April 2011, we took St. Louis with 65 citizens of Smashville. In October 2012, we took the entire Midwest.

Even during the lockout, we tackled Rocky Top.

This time, we’re heading to Nationwide Arena in Columbus for the Predators’ regular season finale against the Blue Jackets on Saturday, April 27th.

PuckScene.com is bringing you the latest edition of the Smashville Express - it’s a new name, but it’s the same road trip.

For the total sum of $100 you will receive:

- Round trip transportation on a Grand Avenue bus from Bridgestone Arena to Columbus and back.
- One (1) ticket to the April 27th Predators vs. Blue Jackets game at Nationwide Arena.
- Giveaways!
- Hockey!

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need to pay?

Right now. Or more specifically, as soon as you decide that you are going. We have sold out every road trip and anticipate a sellout on this one as well.

Where will the bus leave from?

This is still being determined. Ticket buyers will be contacted with the departure location. Unfortunately due to the Jimmy Buffett concert, we cannot park and ride from the Arena.

When will the bus leave?

The bus will depart at 8:00am sharp. Please arrive at the departure location no later than 7:45am.

What time will the bus return?

The bus should return to Nashville at around 3:00am on Sunday morning..

Will we be overnighting?

We will be returning to Nashville after the game. Grand Avenue is sending a relief driver to Columbus to drive us home. In other words, we will not be staying overnight in Columbus.

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely, but for obvious reasons, they need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

I don’t want to ride the bus. Can I just buy a ticket?

This trip is a charter. Since this trip is being offered as a package, it will not be sold “a la carte”. If you do not wish to travel on the bus, you will need to obtain your tickets from the Blue Jackets’ box office. You can go to columbusbluejackets.com or call 1-800-NHL-COLS.

I live on the way. Can the bus pick me up?

No. The bus is running on a strict schedule from Bridgestone Arena to Columbus. We will not have pickup stops along the way.

Will there be licorice on the bus?

Yes. There is always licorice on the bus.
