PuckScene.com was launched in June 2011 by Patten Fuqua. The site focuses on the National Hockey League – specifically the Nashville Predators organization. For the 2011-12 season, PuckScene has been credentialed Nashville Predators media. In addition, PuckScene was credentialed at the 2012 AHL All Star Classic in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and the 2012 NHL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Patten Fuqua holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Belmont University in Journalism and Broadcasting. Prior to founding PuckScene, he had his first hockey blogging experience with Section303.com and was credentialed for the 2011 AHL All Star Classic and the 2011 NHL Draft. In 2010, Patten was voted as one of the Nashville Scene’s “Best Community Role Models” based on his “We Are Nashville” blog at Section303.com. Patten also has previous experience as an intern with WSMV and working as a spotter for ESPN’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series coverage. Most importantly, the first “celebrity” he ever interviewed was Eddie Money.
